Our Story
Tiwi Partners was established in 2016 as an Indigenous construction company with the capability to deliver projects across Australia through all delivery forms.
In June 2019 Tiwi Partners transitioned from an unincorporated joint venture to a fully incorporated standalone Entity.
The Joint Venture between the Tiwi Islands Equity Holders Pty Ltd and Sitzler Pty Ltd was the culmination of a process initiated by the Tiwi Land Council and Tiwi Island Regional Council who jointly sought expressions of interest from corporations with interest in and capacity for undertaking infrastructure projects in the Tiwi Islands and beyond. The Tiwi Traditional Owners selected national construction specialist Sitzler Pty Ltd to partner with them in developing long term growth opportunities for the Tiwi and other Indigenous Territorians.
Our Mission
Tiwi Partners is committed to a business model that includes training and employment of Tiwi people. As a registered Supply Nation Business, Tiwi Partners work with Tiwi enterprises and other approved Indigenous businesses where ever possible.
With the fundamental purpose of Tiwi Partners being to improve the lives of the Tiwi people, a Tiwi Community Benefit Fund has been established. Building on our success, the business model enables ongoing contribution into the Fund to improve the standard of living, health services, education, community and family services on Tiwi.
